3D Sculpt - “Frida”
Coatl design from Flight Rising.
Colorless Model found [here]
First time making a complete, colored/textured model! It’s nice to finally figure out how to color sculpts in this thing ;u;
I’m afraid I’m still limited as far as wing textures can go (and Sculptris was beginning to crash) but this was a welcome challenge~
Hopefully the background isn’t too much- woops
This is my favorite Coatl lady, Frida.
Coatls, fuck yeah. Thought this deserved to be on my main blog. [ my fr tumblr is here if ya’ll don’t know yet ]
Miraculously made it decently enough, just under the limit with the amount of triangles my poor laptop can manage. *u*;
Feathers are hard but I love how this came out. uvu enjoy your fat
butttailwings snek dragon.
didn’t win the carnivale contest, ah well. :b Here’s more of 3d coatl, now with legsss. But no wings or feathers. uvu;
i saw that 3d coatl flying around and now, dang, here i am making another 3d coatl because i thought it would be fun

Okosan, the great and fluffy pigeon.
GROVEY’S NEW CHARACTER FACIAL DESIGN THEORY THING
Well, you guys said I should. :b I didn’t like my original as much anymore, so I made something that’s hopefully more applicable to different styles?
Other avoiding-sameface guides I see, including my old one, were basically a hodgepodge of different faces and figures, and didn’t match up with how some people’s styles worked. So uh, this text-heavy thing happened.
I’ve had a lot of thoughts lately about why some people’s characters are definitely different to me when I look, but still somehow are too familiar/similar? So I think this is the reason for why.
Again, I’m not an expert, but I like how this came out. So yay. :b
Other pictures from: Guild Wars 2, TMNT, Avatar: TLA. Everything else was drawn by me.
